KS2: Music – Pop Music

This lesson is about eliciting emotional responses to music. The songs are all LGB related – or produced or performed by LGB people. It shows the creative talents – often unrecognised – of LGB artists. To some students it should demonstrate how music – as a historical record – shows the development of the LGB community. The YouTube links are embedded in the lesson plans but may be inaccessible within schools. If so, the addresses can be cut and pasted into browsers.
