  1. Comes in the form of a pdf with appendices. Sugar paper and marker pens needed.  A couple of plans need resources, i.e. press cuttings. Otherwise there are resources in the appendices.
  2. Only LGB; not T.
  3. Lesson on gender. Case studies use multi-cultural names
  4. West Yorkshire police will have had equalities training. They use Kidscape resources.
  5. Very clear about what the teacher is to do. Occasionally patronising, e.g. “When you are asked to split the class into groups it is up to the teacher to decide the make-up of each group. For example will they be mixed ability or mixed sex etc? Each decision will be based on the teacher’s knowledge of the class”.
  6. Lots of group discussion and feedback. Minimal reading and writing.
  7. Outcomes included in opening statement. No measurement.
  8. Divided into lessons, but no timings given.
  9. Although it is progressive, one-off lessons could be taken from it.
